Le Creuset Heart Casserole
Porcelain enameled cast iron is what the Le Creuset family of extraordinary pots and pans are made of and with the addition of their ceramic and stoneware cook ware the line is almost complete. Its completion is dependent upon what else their makers may think of next They have pots, pans and dishes of every shape and size some being designed to look like fruits and vegetables. But one of their most popular is the Le Creuset heart casserole. This item has been on the company books since the inception of the Le Creuset company in 1925. Of course, the heart casserole comes in red.
Although it is not considered a seasonal pot to be used only at Valentine Day, it would make a special meal on that day complete. What can say "I love you" more and better than a delicious meal served to your loved one from a red heart shaped pot? This heart shaped casserole has a two quart capacity and can withstand an oven temperature of 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Like its round, square and rectangular cousins the Le Creuset heart casserole can be used to cook with in the oven, on a gas stove, an electric stove, and induction oven. You can store your prepared food in the pot ii the freezer then cook it in whatever method you choose and finally serve it in the pot. It is attractive and durable. La Creuset has dishes that are microwaveable but this heart casserole is not microwaveable. It may not be microwaveable but it is dishwasher safe.
The Le Creuset heart casserole is made similarly to the larger size casseroles in that it has a handle on each side of the pot. The knob on the lid will withstand an oven heat of 450 degrees Fahrenheit. The casserole is made of enameled cast iron therefore, it retains heat. Most of all anything you cook in it will remain juicy until it is served. In all, it's a pot every home cook should have in her pot cabinet to make successfully delicious meals.
Le Creuset casserole is probably one of the best casseroles that you can find in the market today. After all there is a reason why those above average casseroles are still around since 1925.
